An Inside Look at the Hive

One great thing about publishing this blog on WordPress is that it’s easy to see my stats: where my readers are from, what days/times they visit my blog, and even how they find Handbag Honey.

“Ok. So, why is this important?” you may ask.

Well, I want to create high-quality content for you guys, and if I’m putting in hours of writing and editing, I want to make sure all of my Handbag Honeys see it.
The stats on WordPress also help me figure out what topics you all love and ones that were ‘meh’.

Here’s a breakdown of some important information that I’ve learned about you Honeys.

Where you Honeys are from- Most of you all are from the United States. The second-largest group of readers is from China, which makes sense because China is the number one producer of luxury counterfeit bags.

Most popular time and day- My most recent post (I know, it’s been a while since I’ve posted, but life happens) My Luxury Handbag Wishlist was most popular on Tuesdays at 11:00 pm.

How Honeys find the Hive- On average, most of you all found me through using a search engine. So, I guess I am getting better at this SEO thing. Next would be the WordPress Android App, followed by Facebook. This info lets me know that I need to be engaging with you all and posting more content on social media. Facebook followed by Twitter and Instagram are the most popular websites you all used to find me.

Most popular article- 10 Alternatives to the Louis Vuitton Speedy has received the most views. Many of you guys like to either ball on a budget or like popular designer handbags but don’t want to be like everyone else and carry the same one. Maybe, my next post will be 10 Alternatives to the Louis Vuitton Neverfull.

Least popular article- One Brand’s Size 12 is Another’s Size 16. That article was a little off-brand, but it explained why I prefer shopping for handbags and accessories over apparel. I’m sorry if that article made anyone relive their past dressing room trauma.

Quick wrap up- To make things short, my stats have shown there are plenty of opportunities for me to connect and engage with you Honeys, and fellow handbag enthusiasts. I will be posting more to Instagram, along with creating a Facebook page and Twitter. Listicle style articles seem to be a big hit. So, expect more of those in the future. If you have any suggestions on what type of content you would like to see, feel free to leave a comment below or shoot me an email at handbaghoney20@gmail.com.
