Love is in the air, and I’ve fallen head over heels for Kate Spade’s heart bags.
The contemporary fashion brand released a red, heart-shaped purse on its retail website and four new outlet heart bags, including an adorable pink sherpa one.
I originally ordered the red Heartbreaker 3D Heart Crossbody for Valentine’s day. Still, days later, when I thought my order was finally being shipped, I got the dreaded email saying it was canceled.
So, I decided to treat myself to the Love Shack purse in chalk pink.
The bag became viral last Valentine’s day on Tik Tok thanks to user natt cova.
Unlike the Heartbreaker, the Love Shack purse is made from durable cross-grain leather and is flat, while the Heartbreaker is puffy and 3 dimensional.
The Love Shack is also an outlet bag, but at $239, it’s expensive for most discount shoppers. However, it’s cheaper than the retail Heartbreaker, $378.
In terms of everyday use, the purse is adorable and super functional.
The Love Shack holds my phone, key, and card case nicely with plenty of room to spare.
I also appreciate the adjustable crossbody strap and cute top handle.
The Love Shack bag is a nice statement piece to add to my collection. I bought it because I wanted to add more fun bags to my collection. Plus, Valentine’s day is coming up, and what better way to show some self-love as a single gal on V-day than to treat myself to a new bag.
I’m also still longing for the Heartbreaker bag and saw that it’s available at Bloomingdale’s and Nordstrom.
Maybe in the future, I’ll add that bag to my collection too.
